“Put away your phone!” is the new “Turn off the TV!” This is what my mom said to my siblings and me, every afternoon after few hours in front the TV. But this problem is not only a kid thing. Nowadays, grown-ups also spend most of our spear time on our cell phones, watching what other people actually do, through social networks. People of all ages, instead of spending time outside, reading a book or crafting, they prefer to keep their electronic devices in front of their eyes. Even though I’m more than aware that the internet and social networks bring great benefits to our daily lives, we must learn to dose them.
My recommendation here is to find a hobby. Hobbies allow us, children and not so children, to develop our skills, meet new people with the same interests like us, enjoy nature, train our brain, reduce stress, and many other good things. Hobbies bring benefits for your body, mind, and soul. Here is a list of hobbies where you can find an inspiration and start to take advantage of that little bit of free time you have left.
Play jigsaw puzzles, crosswords puzzles and sudokus.
